PERSONALITY
No one will ever accuse Alex of being a Nobel prize winning genius. Heck, they won't even accuse her of being bright. Alex is dumb, but sweet. Though she dabbled in schoolyard bullying as a child thanks to her tall stature, she grew up into a well-meaning adult who wants the best out of things. She might have carried some of her childish innocence with her. What Alex lacks in intelligence, she makes up for with her personality. Bright, bubbly, fun-loving, impulsive, and food-loving, Alex wants to get out there in the world and enjoy things. She's never going to say no to an adventure and is willing to take the world by storm.
Relationships are a bit of a different story. After leaving Dave at the altar, things didn't exactly turn out so great for her, but she learned how to navigate single life well enough, until she and Dave got back together. And then broke up again. So, you know, that sooked. Still, Alex is unwilling to let life challenge her. She'll get right back up and do it again because I've been hearing a lot about those Russians, but down here, it's our time. USA! USA! USA!

HISTORY
Alex grew up with her sisters Jane and Brooke in the suburbs of Chicago. Descended from a proud Croatian family, Alex was the youngest in the pecking order and was often spoiled because of how cute she was. They had two other close friends -- Penny and Dave -- who stuck with them. In college, they added Max and Brad to their group and the sixsome was complete. Of course, there had to be romance. Dave and Alex started going out when they were teens and everything seemed to be going perfectly until suddenly, on their wedding day, Alex realized she couldn't do it and ran out the door. Coming back from that was rough, but she and Dave managed to get back to a good place after a lot of ups and downs.
She runs her clothing boutique, Xela, and constantly looks for new adventures. Alex's real dream is for her life to be like a romantic comedy, but if that's not going to happen, then she'll settle for mapping out all the restaurants in Chicago and eating the best ribs. What more could a girl want?
